HEADCORN 

Headcorn is a sizeable busy Wealden village situated about eight miles south east of Maidstone, on the A274 road to Tenterden. On the outskirts will be found Headcorn Airfield which serves light aircraft traffic as well as a sky diving school. 

TRANSPORT. 
A popular commuting village due to its mainline station with services between Ashford and London Charing Cross. 

SCHOOLS. 
Headcorn has a primary school. Senior schools will be found in various locations some distance away e.g. Homewood School Tenterden, Cranbrook School or towards Maidstone. 

RETAIL. 
There is a good range of local village shops as well as a Sainsbury’s Local. 

HOLLINGBOURNE AND EYHORNE STREET 

Hollingbourne and Eyhorne Street lie about four miles to the east of Maidstone and located on the southward slope of the North Downs. It has limited retail facilities but some good pubs/eateries. 

TRANSPORT. 
One to two miles to J8 of the M20. The railway station is on the main line between Ashford and London Victoria. 

SCHOOLS. 
Hollingbourne has a primary school. Senior schools are at Maidstone and Lenham. 

RETAIL. 
Limited but local facilities are available at Bearsted about three miles.

KINGS HILL 

Located about eight miles to the west of Maidstone and about 1.5 miles to the south of West Malling. It has dual carriage way access to J4 of the M20. 

Kings Hill is a modern, concept village built on the site and land surrounding the former Maidstone airport which was of great importance in World War II. 

In addition to substantial areas of residential properties in all price ranges, there is also a large commercial park which houses many substantial companies that provide a good source for local employment. 

Kings Hill has good local amenities including a major supermarket and local shopping “village” whilst sports and leisure facilities are excellent. As well as an 18-hole golf course there is a David Lloyd health club nearby. 

TRANSPORT. 
M20 J4 about three miles. West Malling station (Ashford to Victoria) about 1.5 miles. 

SCHOOLS. 
There are pre-school nursery and primary schools whilst senior schools will be found in Aylesford, East Malling and Maidstone. 

RETAIL. 
Kings Hill has a retail centre which includes shops, eateries and an Asda supermarket. West Malling (1.5 miles) offers additional and varied shopping and eateries.
